When it comes to travelling, the second important thing to bring home after great memories is great photos. Capturing bright and happy moments abroad is the inevitable part of our vacations. Of course, we don’t even want to think about any negatives that can happen to our camera but still nobody’s safe from it. For that reason, getting good camera travel insurance is a wise part among other travel preparations.

How can camera travel insurance help me?

Should anything happen to your camera whilst abroad, Globelink Travel Insurance policies provide the following level of coverage, subject to policy excesses:

• Comprehensive - up to £300
• Annual Multi-Trip - up to £300
• Winter Sports - up to £300
• Globetrekkers Standard Plus - up to £150
• Regular - up to £150

Having put this information into your order, you’ll have it in a special table in your policy certificate. There will be a premium fee added to your policy price in amount of 30% of your camera value and the minimum charge is £20.

Note that there are certain limitations as to reimbursement, in the event of a claim, the insurers will pay the current (second hand) value of the item. Cover is not replacement as new.
