Over here, the weather can be, shall we say, unpredictable. We can’t guarantee blue skies and warm sunshine from one day to the next. This is one key reason why holiday bookings to sunnier climates and travel insurance purchases are higher than ever. If your idea of heaven is sunshine, golden sandy beaches, blue skies, and crystal clear blue seas, we’ve got the perfect suggestions for you. Here are 5 crystal clear water beaches:
First on our list is Gold Rock Beach. Situated in the Bahamas, on Grand Bahama Island, Gold Rock Beach is like no other. Breath taking enough to be a selected as one of the location shoots for Pirates of the Caribbean, the sand here is literally perfect and soft as silk. The sea is so transparent you’d swear it was made of glass, and the sky is sapphire blue. At low tide this beach is virtually as wide as a football field so there is plenty of space to take a stroll or relax in the sunshine.
For times when the sun does get a little too warm for you, you can take a swim or take in the scenery of the local mangroves, or famous limestone caves. For those feeling active there are also kayak routes to explore. For ultimate rest and relaxation, don’t forget a good book and an ice-cold cocktail.
